One of the towns dotting the coast in the broader region known as Los Angeles’ South Bay, Redondo Beach combines an active recreational streak with a relaxing beachside-residential vibe. The Redondo Beach Pier and the King Harbor Marina come to life on weekends with beachgoers, cyclists, boating enthusiasts, and other fun-seekers who flock to the area, located south of Hermosa Beach and north of where the Palos Verdes Peninsula juts into the Pacific.
